i-Sustainability Plus Theory published during quarantine

During quarantine cause of contagion of Covid-19 in March 2020, FHM expert, Prof. Dr. Hamid Doost Mohammadian has provided an article to introduce his new theory named: i-Sustainability Plus Theory which got accepted and published at MDPI Invention open access journal in Basel, Switzerland entitled:

·         i-Sustainability Plus Theory as an Innovative Path towards Sustainable World Founded on Blue-Green Ubiquitous Cities (Case Studies: Denmark and South Korea)

Prof. Dr. Hamid Doost Mohammadian represents FHM by providing this article and he has invented and published a new theory entitled: i-Sustaianbility Plus Theory which is made of the trinity open innovation, sustainability and 4.0 smart high technologies e.g. digitization and ubiquitous city (U-city). This construct which is including the idea of sustainable ubiquitous city is probed as a new idea of urban living in tomorrow’s cities and societies. The idea of U-city derived from the combination of real life, high technology, and virtual reality for which again digitization is a prerequisite. In recent decades, digitization is a remarkable driver of sustainable development.

The concept considers the 5th wave theory (invented by Prof. Dr. Hamid Doost Mohammadian, 2017-19), which is about readiness to change into the new age we are just entering. Interestingly, it forecasted a crisis, and we are presently inside the COVID-19 crisis. The aim of this article is to study “Contagion and Tomorrow’s Cities: as an Innovative Path towards Sustainable World Founded on Blue-Green Ubiquitous Cities by i-Sustainability Plus and 5th Wave Theories”

This paper also aims to cover the impact of 4.0 technologies on tomorrow’s cities, including the large-scale deployment of Internet of Things (IoT), the employment of big data and machine learning for tomorrow’s cities forecasting, the use of cloud platforms for the control of smart cities, and the new cyber-risks for this sector. Cities’ economies have changed from an urban economy to a data and urban economy, leading to the concept of “Tomorrow’s Cities in Society 6.0”.

Nowadays, the new concept of urban living is required as a path to struggle with urbanization challenges in order to maintain the world and make cities better settings for living through creating high quality of life and livability. To achieve such areas, developing sustainability, urban planning based on Information Technology, Information Communication Technology infrastructure, and innovative management play important roles. So, authors try to find out new concepts of urban life concerned with these indicators through sustainability, innovation, ubiquitous, and smartness to create a sustainable and modern world through smart cities. Based on authors’ researches, Blue-Green infrastructure based on environmentally friendly, green strategies, sustainable water management, and ubiquitous services focusing on digitalization and high technologies are required to make a modern world. Fundamentally, innovation management in technology, business and marketing has important roles in designing such areas by keeping up with growing demands and low resources of energies. In this research, i-Sustainability Plus is introduced as a theory to create Blue-Green Ubiquitous cities as modern sustainable and loveable urban areas. Such areas could make the world a better place for living through sustainable development and improving quality of human life.
