Nach 3 Jahren Forschungs- und Kooperationsaktivitäten ist das von der FHM geleitete Projekt VAM Realities zu Ende gegangen. Das Projekt VAMRs wurde ins Leben gerufen, um KMUs bei der Integration von Immersive Reality Technologie in ihre Produktionsabläufe und Geschäfte durch ein neuartiges Kooperationsmodell zwischen Hochschulen und Unternehmen zu unterstützen. Das Projektkonsortium, das sich aus Forschern, Industrie und Technologieanbietern zusammensetzt, hat erfolgreich ein KMU-XR-Coaching-Programm entwickelt, erprobt und umgesetzt. Die Integration von VR- und AR-Technologie in die KMU ist damit viel einfacher geworden. Im Rahmen des Programms wurden die KMU mit der neuesten Hardware vertraut gemacht und darüber informiert, wie sie im Geschäftsbetrieb eingesetzt werden kann. Außerdem wurden KMU in ganz Europa mit Technologie- und Softwareanbietern zusammengebracht, um gemeinsam mit den VMARS-Partnern die Einführung der Technologie zu erreichen. Weiterhin stehen umfangreiche Hilfsmittel für KMU abrufbereit, damit sie sich mit VR- und AR-Technologien vertraut machen und sie kompetent einsetzen können. FHM concludes the VAM Realities Knowledge alliance project
After 3 years of research and cooperation activities the FHM led project VAM Realities has come to a close. The VAMRs project was established to support SMEs in the integration of immersive reality technology into their manufacturing operations and business through a novel university-business cooperation model. The project consortium consisting of researchers, industry and technology providers across has successfully created, piloted and implemented a SME XR Coaching programme. It's easier than ever for SMEs to implement VR and AR technologies. The programme has introduced SMEs to the latest hardware and how it can be used in business operations, as well as pairing SMEs across Europe with technology and software providers, together with the VMARS partners to achieve technology adoptions. The Project has also produced a range of supports tools for SMEs to become comfortable and competent with VR and AR technologies.
