Bushehr Province hosts FHM Global SME Management Workshop in October 2018

On October 1st 2018, Prof. Dr. habil. Richard Merk (CEO at FHM), Prof. Dr. Volker Wittberg (Vice-President at FHM) and Prof. Dr. Hamid Doost Mohammadian (Director of International Management, Iran Representative at FHM) travelled to south of Iran, Bushehr to hold a four-day workshop for Global Small-Medium Sized Enterprises Management. The workshop was part of an agreement between the University of Applied Sciences and Technology of Bushehr Province and FHM University.

“The goal of such workshops is to exchange scientific knowledge with universities, to improve the knowledge of students and instructors in the field, and to learn from experiences of advanced countries for native province needs’’, commentated Dr. Hossein Eskandari, head of the University of Applied Sciences and Technology of Bushehr Province. He added: „The implementation of this memorandum is the first step and in the next steps further courses will be held in associate degrees up to Doctoral and Postdoctoral programs.” Dr. Eskandari continued: “Increasing interactions in the international arena is one of the serious approaches of the practical application of the Bushehr University of Applied Sciences, which we are serious about to achieve.”

Prof. Dr. Merk added: “Cooperation with Bushehr Polymer University of Applied Sciences and the University of Applied Sciences and Technology of Bushehr Province implements research & development projects and is a positive result of the MOU.”

October 3rd, 2018. FHM delegation and Bushehr Governor met at the Bushehr Governance to discuss about the next SME international conference in the south of Iran. The next day FHM delegation travelled to the west of Bushehr Province to the largest gas platform of the world to have negotiation with the potential applicants there.
